Cajun Spiced Wedges

I love potatoes. In almost any form.
One of my favourite quick snacks or dinner accompaniments to make are wedges.
The great thing about these are the huge variety of flavours possible.
I've made sea salt and black pepper, Italian herb, Sweet Chilli, plain....basically any flavouring found in my kitchen cupboards.

Last night I made some gorgeous Cajun Spiced Wedges. The taste was amazing and within 2 minutes the bowl was empty...seriously these are addictive.

Potatoes (I used Maris Piper)
Cajun Spice
Oil (I used Extra Virgin Olive)

Slice your potatoes into wedges and put them in a microwaveable bowl.
Heat for 10 minutes in a microwave. Mine is 850w, you may have to cook for longer/shorter depending on your microwave.
Once the 10 minutes is up, place the wedges on a baking tray. They may have stuck together slightly so you might need to just split them up.
Sprinkle on as much, or as little spice that you require then drizzle with oil.
Place in a preheated oven, at 200 degrees, for between 10 and 15 minutes. This will depend on how cooked you like your wedge, you might even want to cook them for up to 20 minutes.

Remove from the oven and serve.
Simply. Easy and ever so yummy!
