Music For Kids: Twinkle Twinkle, Jingle Puzzle {Review}

With Charles at Preschool 5 days a week I really like to find fun activities for us to do when he is at home. I haven't quite got into a routine with going out yet, and knowing what time we'd need to be home to then get out again and so on so most of our time is spent at home.
I wanted to choose something different to painting and playdoh, and other activities I know he takes part in at Preschool.
He's always been into puzzles, stickers and music so when we were sent the Jingle Puzzle I knew it would be ideal to use to entertain him before or after preschool.
There are four nursery rhymes to choose from.
We were sent the Twinkle Twinkle Jigsaw Activity Pack.
This jigsaw activity pack is an entertaining way to introduce music to children and to further observational skills. Designed for children aged 3-6 years, the Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star jigsaw activity pack contains a sing-along CD with 12 bedtime songs.

Within the pack there is a sing-along cd, over 20 peel-able activity stickers, sing-along songsheet, as well as a large 1000mm x 200mm floor jigsaw puzzle. The puzzle was challenging yet at the same time matched Charles' abilities and by concentrating he was able to build the jigsaw.
We played the cd and danced and joined in with songs that we knew.
We sat up the table and enjoyed looking through the activity book, sticking the stickers on the correct pages, colouring in pictures and completing puzzles. I really enjoyed this piece as Charles was able to guide me through the book, rather than me taking over, and was able to recognise that the book matched the puzzle he had just made.

I think the Jingle Puzzle is great to work on together but is also fab to encourage independent play.

Harry ran off with the missing pieces.

The Twinkle Twinkle, Little Star Jingle Puzzle is available via the MusicRoom online store for £9.99.

We were sent a Jingle Puzzle for the purpose of this review. All words above are honest and my own.
