Every Monday Louise posts a Motivational Quote and I've really enjoyed reading these. I think it's a great way to start the week on a positive, upbeat note.
As I have recently also become obsessed with pining quotes on Pinterest, I asked Louise if she would mind if I joined in with her Motivational Monday posts, to which she replied "the more the merrier"! Yay!
I've always been really sensitive and I let things, and people bother me far too much.
I feel at the moment I have a lot of things on my shoulders. Things I can't talk about as much as I would like to.
I sit and get myself all wound up over these things, and people when really I shouldn't. I know that, but sometimes it's hard to accept that and just move on.
I found this quote on Pinterest (although made this image myself) a while ago and everytime I find one person (could be any person, not one in particular) annoys me, winds me up or makes me sad and upset, I just think of this and move my attention elsewhere. I find that the majority of the time it works.
I picture a room full of thousands of people and pick out that one person who is bothering me.
Then look at the room full of people, then at the one person who is bothering me.
And I realise that they don't really matter, and more often than not they are not worth having a ruined day over or important enough to stress over so much.
My steps to becoming more positive include this quote.
I think it's very important for me to read, accept and live by.
