Katy's Kettle Corn {Review}

Last year I reviewed baked potato chips Popchips, I was recently contacted by Popchips about an exciting new product they have introduced, Katy's Kettle Corn.
Shortly after joining the Popchips family as an investor and creative partner, Katy Perry expressed her desire to create a signature Popchips flavour. Like everything Katy Perry does, she wanted to have her signature stamp on it and create a unique flavour that captured both her passion for popcorn and craving for the classic sweet & salty flavour of kettle corn. The result is Katy’s Kettle Corn, a naturally delicious popped corn chip with just the right balance of sweet & salty. And with less than half the fat of fried crisps, fewer calories and none of the fake colours or flavours that give snacking a bad name, they are as irresistible as Katy’s #1 hits.

I'm the type of person to umm and ahh at the cinema with the choice between sweet and salty popcorn so I was really intrigued into how sweet and salty would be combined. I wondered if the flavours would try to out do each other too much and therefore cause the Kettle Corn to be too overpowering.
In fact, this really works. It's not too salty, or too sugary. The two flavours just really compliment each other.
I think I prefer the Kettle Corn to popcorn because of the texture. I find these a great alternative to crisps and these have been my go-to snack when I've felt a little peckish.

Popchips was named the #1 bagged snack launch of 2012 by the grocer, and can be found at leading retailers across the UK including Waitrose, Ocado, Sainsburys,  Boots, Starbucks, Whsmith (stations and airports), planet organic and whole foods markets.

I was sent some Katy's Kettle Corn for the purpose of this review.
