Vertbaudet Windcheater Raincoat | Review

When buying the boat we were under no illusions that we will face a big challenge when it comes to days out and short breaks. A challenge that we have no control over and will have to face at some point.
The weather.
The easiest option would have been to not buy a boat just incase we have a really wet Summer and end up not having any time to enjoy her.
But that's far too dramatic.
Or we could simply plan well ahead and be prepared.
Raincoats and umbrellas are a big must when it comes to battling the weather. In fact raincoats will be essential for us to keep dry against possible spray as we sail along anyway.

Charles was sent a Windcheater hooded jacket from Vertbaudet.
We were sent the size 5 which fits really well and will see him through the summer. The aqua colour is lovely and bright, and means the jacket would be perfectly fine for a girl or a boy.
There is a navy trim and 'faux sleeve' with compliments the aqua beautifully. The hood and inside of the coat benefits from a navy mesh lining.

The jacket has 2 pockets, fastened with a zip. The jacket is fastened with a zip and has quite a high neck, along with the hood this gives the child a lot of protection against wind and rain.
The coat is thick enough to keep children warm in the winter, but not too thick so it is perfect for chilly Summer evenings.

As with all Vertbaudet clothes the jacket is well made, great quality, and will last us a few years (when passed down to Harry too).
