Sundays #2

I always used to enjoy reading Charlottes 'Weekend Posts' and it's something I've wanted to take inspiration from for a while. Particularly since being with my boyfriend as my weekends aren't spent all lonely by myself wondering what to do.
I work every Saturday so my alternative to a weekend post is to document my Sundays. Sometimes its just a lazy day but I am now trying to make more of an effort, even if it is a home day I try to at least make it special by making a good breakfast or having something really nice for dinner.

Today was a Sunday without my boys and without my boyfriend. The boys were with their dad and my boyfriend was on call with work so was an hour and a half away, so I had plans to relax, do some blogging, read my book, wash my hair, and have a really big tidy up of my house.

When I first woke up I went and made myself a coffee, and checked to see if Charlotte had given birth over night, or if she was in labour. I've followed Charlotte's blog for years now, and obviously now her Youtube channel, and am so excited for them all for the new arrival. I do find myself constantly checking for updates.
I sat and wrote out a couple of blog posts scheduled for next week. Finishing the first of my Travel Bucket List posts, and writing another two. Whilst I did that I watched some Youtube videos, mostly loving Helen Anderson.

My internet was a bit temperamental so it took me a lot longer to write my post than I hoped.

I then had a two hour bath (which turned out to be practical as I sorted my Pinterest boards and felt really successful after doing that), a hair wash, a sort out in my kitchen and my lounge, and spent some quality time with the tortoises. I let them do some free roaming around my lounge which was lovely. Oh, and I caught up with the rest of Celebs Go Dating.

The cats basically followed me around pretty much all day, any room I am in, they go in.
I made myself some wraps for dinner and then settled down on the sofa for a while before going to bed to have my hour to two hour long phone conversation with my boyfriend.

An uneventful but relaxing day, much needed after the stress of a snowy week.
