Go to the Circus

I saw tickets for a Circus on Groupon last week and snapped those up ready for a Sunday in a few weeks time.
It was £10 for a ticket for 2 or £19 for a ticket for 5, so it seemed more logical to go for a ticket for 5 and have a spare seat, saving a measly £1 but stopping any drama between the boys sitting next to strangers and also having a seat for our coats and bags.
The circus is a travelling one which comes to this area a lot in the warmer months. It's an hour and a half away so we will spend the morning travelling over and going to the beach as its on the coast and then having a picnic or lunch somewhere as our show is at 3.
I'm sure me and my boyfriend will enjoy it, I just hope the boys do too.

Crabbing has been on my to do list for years now, ever since me and my brother took Charles when he was only little.
I think I had this fear of going by myself with the boys in case a crab nipped me or in case we did something wrong.
I'd love to be able to do this in the summer with my boys and my boyfriend.
It's funny when you have the scenarios in your mind of things you can do together.
Again, crabbing down the coast with a picnic...I'm thinking picnics need to happen as often as possible.

Kite Flying

The boys were bought some kites a few years ago and we haven't really taken the opportunity to fly them as much as we should.
This is definitely something I want to do more of in the Spring and Summer and is something I should really do with them after school to pass the time between school run-tea-bed.
Living on the coast gives us plenty of places to go to fly the kites, and this would also give us a good excuse to explore the local area.

As soon as it is warm enough to stand outside for an hour at least without any part of the body freezing I want to have a barbecue. I failed last year by not having one, despite eventually building the barbecue I got for a bargain from work the year before.
I guess I am a bit of a wimp when it comes to that sort of stuff, fire really, and am following the stereotype of needing a man to do that job.

Stock Car Racing

Again, another thing I've wanted to do the last couple of years and haven't done it, watching the Stock Car Racing at Great Yarmouth. I love the adrenaline, the smell, the sounds and just the atmosphere of it all. It's such a lovely evening out...as long as it isn't too cold.
The only downside is that it is expensive, especially for a whole family, so you have to choose carefully and make sure its likely to be good races, good weather and not too busy.
